How we handle your data

What do we store?

• Account (optional): if you create an account, we securely store your email address and password. We only use this to let you log in.
• Favourites: the songs you heart are linked to your account so you can see them anywhere.
• Lesson progress: the checkmarks on lessons are only stored on your own device (in the browser), not on our servers.
• Statistics: we anonymously count which pages are visited, so we know which explanations work well. No visit can be linked to a person.

Cookies

FretWijzer.nl uses no advertising, tracking or social media cookies. We only use technically necessary storage in your browser:

• a login session, so you stay logged in;
• your lesson progress and settings, on your own device.

Because we don't use tracking cookies, no cookie banner is needed.

Payments (later)

Once paid downloads and memberships go live, payment will run through Mollie. We will only see whether a payment succeeded — your bank details stay with Mollie and your bank.

Your rights

You can always ask what data we hold about you, have it corrected, or have your account and favourites deleted. Send an email to info@fretwijzer.nl.
